Where does Google come up with this stuff? A new project called Google Cardboard, essentially turns your Android (iOS phones soon) into a sort of device similar to a Viewfinder.
You can create your own at home with cardboard and a few other materials, or order online for around $20. Place it to your eyes and walk around virtual locations using Google Street Maps information to create an enhanced experience.
